Olea europaea fruit oil (inci)

Olea europaea oil refers to the extract from the fruit of the olive tree (olive tree). The fruit extract is used in cosmetic formulations. The fatty oil mainly consists of glycerides of oleic acid, palmitic acid and linoleic acid.

Olea europaea oil acts as an emollient (makes the skin smooth and supple), skin nourishing (keeps the skin in good condition), solvent (dissolves other substances), masking (reduces or inhibits an undesirable inherent smell or taste of the product), perfuming (improves the smell of a product and/or perfumes the skin).
