Myristaminopropionic acid (inci)

Myristamine (also called tetradecylamine) is a chemical compound from the group of alkylamines. Myristaminopropionic acid is a substance which is used in cosmetic formulations. The substance acts as an antistatic agent (reduces static charges by neutralizing the electrical charge on the surface, e.g. of hair), surfactant (washing-active substance) and foaming agent (increases the foam formation and improves volume, structure and durability of the foam).
