Lard glycerides, glycerides extracted from lard, are used in cosmetic formulations. Lard glycerides act as emulsifiers (change the interfacial tension of liquids such as water and oil so that they can be mixed together), skin care products and viscosity regulators (increase or decrease the viscosity of cosmetic products).
