Jugulans regia seed oil, the walnut oil is extracted from the leaves of the walnut tree and the still green walnuts. This is a yellowish to greenish, thin-bodied oil which is used in cosmetic formulations.

Jugulans regia oil contains lauric acid, myristic acid, oleic acid, tanning agents and the brown-coloring juglon.

The walnut oil has an anti-inflammatory effect. It colours the skin through the juglone content. Furthermore the oil acts as astringent and repellent.
