Echinacea angustifolia leaf extract (inci)

Echinacea angustifolia leaf extract, the leaf extract of the narrow-leaved coneflower (see coneflower below) is used in cosmetic formulations. The leaf extract has a skin-caring, moisturizing and strengthening effect on skin and hair; it also has an anti-oedematous effect, e.g. in cases of solar dermatitis.
